Watch to Learn More about In the Treatment Room

Where Treatment Decisions Begin

I love conferences and learning, but most conferences leave us with research updates and clinical pearls — not clear protocols or frameworks we can actually use on Monday morning.

Clinicians leave knowing the what, but not the how.

In the Treatment Room Live is the only protocol-based conference that walks you through how experienced clinicians actually think through a patient case, step by step.

Join practitioners from across Canada for a full day of live clinical cases, protocol discussions, treatment frameworks, and collaborative conversations that reflect what actually happens in clinical practice.

This isn't a lecture series.

It's an opportunity to sit in the room while experienced clinicians work through real patient cases, explain their clinical reasoning, discuss different approaches, and share the practical decisions they make every day.

If you've ever wished you could sit beside another practitioner and ask, "What would you do next?" this event is for you.

Spend the day with Dr. Sarah Wilson, ND

Join a panel of experienced practitioners as they work through complex cases, challenge conventional thinking, and share the clinical reasoning behind their treatment decisions.

  • Two cases, one framework, six protocols: See how multiple experienced clinicians actually think through complex cases and make treatment decisions, giving you frameworks you can use immediately in your practice.

  • Discover breakthrough strategies for navigating complex perimenopause cases resistant to conventional HRT, plus proven protocols for post-viral fatigue and digestive disorders that don't respond to standard treatments.

  • Interact and Advance Your Knowledge: Rather than sitting through presentations all day, you'll participate in discussions, ask questions, compare treatment approaches, and connect with practitioners who are equally passionate about improving patient care. You'll leave not only with new knowledge, but with new ways of thinking about clinical practice.

More Than a Conference

Rather than sitting through presentations all day, you'll participate in discussions, ask questions, compare treatment approaches, and connect with practitioners who are equally passionate about improving patient care.

Sunday Session 1

9:00 – 9:30 AM

Registration, sponsor engagement, and welcome.

Main Stage Clinical Case #1
Perimenopause Beyond HRT: A Tricky Case When Hormone Therapy Isn't Tolerated

9:30 AM – 11:00 AM

One of the most challenging clinical scenarios is the patient with clear symptoms of late-stage perimenopause who doesn't respond well to conventional hormone replacement therapy.

Our panel will work through the case of a patient whose sleep and vasomotor symptoms improved with HRT, but whose anxiety and immune-related symptoms became significantly worse.

You'll hear experienced clinicians discuss:

  • Differential diagnosis
  • What may have been overlooked
  • How investigations are prioritized
  • Treatment sequencing
  • Clinical reasoning
  • Practical protocols

Topics include hormone interpretation, inflammation, immune influences, metabolic contributors, nervous system regulation, and evidence-informed treatment strategies.

Sunday Session 2

Main Stage Clinical Case #2
Post-Viral Fatigue, Digestive Dysfunction & Complex Chronic Illness

11:30 AM – 1:00 PM

One of the most common—and clinically frustrating—patient presentations seen in practice today.

Our expert panel will work through the case of a patient experiencing persistent fatigue, digestive dysfunction, reduced resilience, and ongoing symptoms following a viral illness.

You'll learn how experienced clinicians approach:

  • Gut and liver dysfunction
  • Immune dysregulation
  • Mitochondrial health
  • Oxidative stress
  • Nervous system regulation
  • Laboratory interpretation
  • Clinical prioritization
  • Treatment planning and practical protocols

Networking Lunch (included)

Followed by Sponsor Bingo

Enjoy lunch while continuing conversations with speakers, colleagues, and sponsors.

Sunday Afternoon Interactive Session 1

What You Need to Know About BC's New Clinical Practice Standards

2:30 PM – 3:15 PM

Join two special guests for a practical discussion on British Columbia's new professional and clinical practice standards.

Beyond reviewing the regulations, they'll discuss what the changes actually look like in day-to-day practice, answer common questions, and share practical strategies for implementation.

Clear guidance. Practical applications. No fear.

Sunday Afternoon Interactive Session 2

Build Your Clinical Framework & Live Q&A with Dr. Sarah Wilson, ND

3:45 PM – 5:00 PM

Develop a systematic approach to complex cases, strengthen your clinical reasoning, and build confidence in treatment planning.

Explore practical strategies for reducing burnout, improving patient communication, creating efficient clinical systems, and building a practice that supports both exceptional patient care and long-term sustainability.

Small-group discussions will encourage collaboration, practical problem solving, and the opportunity to ask your own clinical questions.

The day concludes with key clinical takeaways, final reflections, prize draws, sponsor acknowledgements, and event wrap-up.

Continuing Education Beyond the Event

While In The Treatment Room Live is intentionally an in-person, non-recorded experience to allow for meaningful conversations (that some of us may not want recorded :)), your learning doesn't end when the conference does.

All attendees will receive access to exclusive educational content created by Dr. Sarah Wilson, allowing you to get clinical context prior to and continue exploring the cases long after the event.

These supplementary learning modules will include:

  • Research related to each featured case

  • Biological mechanisms behind treatment decisions

  • Clinical reasoning frameworks

  • Evidence supporting different protocol options

  • Continuing education activities eligible for CE credits

It's the perfect opportunity to reinforce what you've learned and continue developing your clinical framework after returning to practice.
